Candle Care

 

For optimal performance of your Maison Antonius™ candle, we strongly advise adhering to the following guidelines:

 

• Ensure the candle burns for 3-4 hours each time or until the wax reaches the edges of the jar to avoid tunneling;

 

• Trim the wick after every use to prevent mushrooming and soot buildup on the candle jar. Always wait for the candle to cool down before trimming the wick;

 

• It is recommended to use a candle snuffer instead of blowing out the flame to minimize smoke and wax splatter;

 

• Cease burning the candle when only 1/4 inch of wax is left to ensure safety.

 

 

Product Advisement

Each candle is handcrafted and packaged in Los Angeles, California. As a result, you may notice some minor imperfections, such as slight discoloration of the wax, labels that are not perfectly centered, or small marks on the jar's exterior. These imperfections do not affect the overall quality of the candle. Please keep in mind that wax can react to different environments, leading to expansion and contraction with temperature changes; the phenomenon of wax appearing to "shrink" from the jar is referred to as frosting and is completely normal. Additionally, it is common for wicks to curl.
